A Start in the Trade
At 14, Greg got his start in remodeling — laboring for a north-suburban contractor and working his way up to skilled carpenter.
APSE Builders
After college, Greg opened his own general contracting company in Chicago’s north suburbs.
Through the Crash
When the market turned, the team pivoted to buying, renovating, and flipping investment homes — eventually more than 100 — mastering how to build real value into a property.
Cobblestone Realty
Greg launched a real estate brokerage, pairing market expertise with the renovation business.

Why I Built Pegasus
“You’re going to live in what we build — so you deserve the truth and the knowledge to get it right.”
I started in this trade at 14, laboring for a north-suburban contractor and working my way up to carpenter. After college I opened my own general contracting company, and through the 2008 crash I learned this business inside and out — buying, renovating, and flipping more than 100 homes. That taught me how to build real value into a house, not just finish a punch list.
Today Pegasus is a full design-build company, and I run it the way I always wished contractors ran theirs: I’m honest, I’m direct, and I give you my real opinion. I tell you what’s actually happening on your project — not a load of fluff — and I walk you through every decision so you understand your options and get it right.
What I love is taking an old home and breathing new life into it — making it beautiful for the way we live today — and handing my clients the keys to a place where they can live out their dreams. We finish every project we start, and we take care of the people we build for. That’s what sets us apart.
